Technopark to host the K-MUG DevCon 2010

Kerala Microsoft User Group (K-MUG), the most active Microsoft User Group in India is organizing their developers conference at Technopark on 3rd and 4th of July 2010. The DevCon 2010 will be held at the Park Center, Technopark, Trivandrum. Over 300 professionals engaged in Microsoft Technologies are expected to participate in the event. According to the K-MUG sources, participation in DevCon 2010 is an excellent source of Technical information on Microsoft Technologies.

Major events planned are Technical sessions and Programming and Blogging contests for the participants.  Technical sessions would cover topics like new features in Visual Studio 2010, Developing with .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and Office 2010, WCF Data Service, Windows Phone 7, SharePoint 2010, Tuning Tools in SQL Server 2008, Web Security and Security Auditing, and Windows Azure. A blogging contest covering pre-event and post event is also part of the event.

Technopark to host Kerala Google Technology User Group Launch

Kerala chapter of Google Technology User Group (GTUG) will be launched on 10th April 2010 Saturday at Technopark.

There will be informative technical sessions by Anash Oommen, Developer Programs Engineer Google, among others, on various topics like Chrome Extension APIs, Orkut/OpenSocial APIs, Chrome OS, tools for the web developers and BigTable – the backend behind the Google Services.

Tech-a-Break 2010 in Technopark

Tech-a-Break 2010 is here. Tech a break is the annual sports and cultural celebrations conducted in Technopark Trivandrum. Technopark is organizing the sixth edition of “Tech-a-Break 2010″ from 19th February to 26th February 2010.

This years Tech a break include a colorful rally on Monday 22nd February. The theme of this year’s rally is “Polka dots”. Many companies in Technopark take part in the rally with great enthusiasm. Celebrations include inter-company music and Dance competitions and sports competitions. There will be a 20:20 Celebrity Cricket Match with Kirmani and Sunil Joshi.

NeST will be the Title Sponsor for the event. Principal sponsor is UST Global and Platinum sponsor is IBS. Infosys and Allianz are Gold sponsors of the events, and Leela and M-Squared are silver sponsors.

Main attraction of Tech a break 2010 is Benny Dayal concert on the 26th February 2010. There will also be Rock show, Fashion show, Music and Dance competitions in this year. Tech-a-Break is the festive time for about 25,000 techies working in about 200 companies in Technopark.
