Online Birth Certificate is Now Valid for School Admissions

Birth Certificates downloaded from the  Kerala Government Civil Registration Website cr.lsgkerala.gov.in can now be used for School Admissions. Government of Kerala has amended the Kerala Education rules to allow print outs of the Online Birth Certificate as a valid proof for school admission in Kerala. Earlier winkerala.com reported that Kerala Government has launched a new initiative to make the Birth, Death and Marriage certificate available online. The facility was launched on 5th August 2010. Kerala is the first state in India to have a centralized database of civil registration record from all registration units.

As of now only recent and new records are available online. In the next phase, all records from 1970 will be digitized and made available online. Many have appreciated the new initiative of Government of Kerala.

Employment News Weekly

Employment News is  a weekly, published in English, Hindi and Urdu languages published by the Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India. It was established in April 1976 under DAVP. The unit is located in R.K. Puram, New Delhi and is headed by a General Manager cum Chief Editor.

The weekly carries advertisement for job of Central, State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, universities, admission notices for professional courses, examination notices and results of organizations like UPSC, SSC and other general recruitment bodies and mid level career promotion opportunities (Deputation). In addition to this, there is also an Editorial segment, which carries articles relating to career opportunities. Vidyarambham at Manorama on Vijayadashami Day 2010
