Send SMS to Check Your Name in Voters List Kerala

Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala has introduced SMS facility to check your status in the Voters List Kerala 2011. In order to verify the name in voters list, send an SMS in the following format:

ELE < Your Voter Identity Card No> The message should be sent to 54242. Voters ID card number should be exactly entered as shown in the ID card. You will immediately get an SMS back with details of your name, polling booth number and the roll number in the voters list.

As part of improving service to voters, CEO Kerala has also launched a new call center. The number for the dedicated call center of CEO Kerala is 1965. The existing call center number:0471 3912344 will continue to function along with the new call center. Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala is all set for the assembly elections 2011.

Pay Property Tax Online in Kerala | Tax.LSGKerala.Gov.In

Information Kerala Mission (IKM) has launched yet another useful feature. Now you can pay property tax online in Kerala through the e-Payment facility. IKM is the flagship e-governance project of Government of Kerala. The facility is now available in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Through this facility, building tax can be paid online for properties within Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Ministry of Local Self Governance, Government of Kerala has informed that the online facility for payment of property tax will be extended to other local bodies as well. The feature will be extended to accept payment of Professional Tax also online.

This facility will be of great help for Non Resident Keralites who has property in Kerala. Now they can make payment from anywhere in the world. The payment can be made using Credit / Debit Cards and Net banking facilities. The e-Payment facility is tied up with leading banks to ease the process.

Sabarimala Temple Information Website Launched by Kerala Police

Sabarimala devotees can now access information such as queue status, weather conditions and parking updates from a website launched by Kerala Police. The website is updated in four languages – English, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. The Sabarimala website provides useful information to devotees and is updated in a timely manner. The website also provides information on Puja timings. The site helps pilgrims to get polices assistance and has important contact details of Kerala Police and other Government agencies in Sabarimala.

The Sabarimala information website also features an SMS facility. Devotees can use this facility to get Queue status, Parking availability and Weather details on their mobiles by sending an SMS to 537252. Along with the website, a digital monitoring system to improve security of Sabarimala has also been launched by Kerala Police.

Voters List Kerala 2011 | Online Registration to Voters List Kerala | Kerala Electoral Roll 2011

Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala has published the Voters List Kerala in their website: ceo.kerala.gov.in/electoralrolls.html. Date of final publication of Voters List Kerala 2011 is 5th January 2011. As part of renewing the Voters List for the upcoming Kerala Legislative Assembly Elections 2011, Kerala Election Commission has launched a new facility in the CEO Kerala Website for Online Registration to voters list for fresh electors. This facility is available for first time electors of 18 years of age – born between 02/01/1992 and 01/01/1993. Applicants father’s or mother’s name should be included in the polling stations where the electors are registering online. Election identity card of father or mother should be filled up. Applications filled online without these details will not be accepted by Election Commission.

Document verification of applicants who applied online for inclusion in the voters list will be conducted on 11th/ 12th/ 19th and 27th December 2010.
