Online Darshan Booking at Sabarimala

Kerala Police launches Online Darshan Queue Booking System at Sabarimala. The system will be operational from 16/11/2011 for  the Sabarimala pilgrimage season 2011 – 2012. The Q-Coupon booked through the Kerala Police website entitles devotees to join the queue for darshan at Nadapanthal, thus getting preference and can avoid hours of waiting in the queue.

This facility provided by Kerala Police is as part of their crowd management initiative at Sabarimala. For advance queue booking at Sabarimala, pilgrims need to upload the scanned copy of their photo and ID card and fill up an online form at the Kerala Police Sabarimala Information website. Once registered, pilgrims then need to take a print out of the Q-Coupon obtained from the website and submit it along with the ID card at Sabarimala when arriving for darshan.

This facility is available only for pilgrims with Irumudikkettu. The scanned copy of the photo should be in JPG or JPEG format less than 30 KB in size.

The Sabarimala Information website was launched by Kerala Police last year.

Grand Kerala Shopping Festival Season 5

Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, the only shopping festival as such is on its way.  Grand Kerala Shopping Festival is an initiative of the Kerala Government.  The much awaited shopping event will start from December 1, 2011 and will end on January 15, 2012.  This marks the 5th season of the shopping festival since its launch in December 1, 2007.

Grand Kerala Shopping Festival is conducted by the Tourism Department along with the Industries & Commerce Department, Finance Department and Local Self Government Department.  The title sponsor of the GKSF – Season 5 is the South Indian Bank.  By conducting the shopping festival, Kerala Government aims to transform our State into a hub for international shopping and thereby launch Shopping Tourism.

Shops which are registered under Shop & Establishment Act industries and all commercial institutions (except Liquor Shops & Medical Stores selling Life Saving medicines) can register themselves to participate in the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival.  Discounts, offers, prizes etc. await the shoppers when they shop from the the shops registered under the GKSF.   Also the shoppers gets gift coupons for a fixed amount of purchase and this gets them into weekly and mega lucky draws .

This festival changes the state of Kerala into a huge shopping mall, so get ready shoppers for a shopping spree and get discounts and gifts.

Kerala Medical | Engineering Entrance Results 2011

Kerala Medical/Engineering Entrance Results 2011 will be published online at the following websites: results.kerala.nic.in and keralaresults.nic.in. Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has conducted the KEAM Entrance examination on 20/04/2011. The admission to Medical, Engineering and Agricultural courses will be based on the performance in the KEAM Entrance Exam 2011. Answer Keys of the entrance examination 2011 has already been published at the CEE website: www.cee-kerala.org

Kerala Higher Secondary Results 2011

Kerala Higher Secondary Results 2011 will be published online in the website: keralaresults.nic.in and results.kerala.nic.in developed by National Informatics Center (NIC), Government of Kerala. NIC has made all arrangements for the smooth delivery of major exam results in Kerala.

Kerala +2 results is expected in the second week of May, 2011. The results will be available on the following websites developed by NIC as and when it is declared.

Kerala Election Results 2011

Kerala Assembly Election was conducted on 13th April 2011. National Informatics Centre (NIC) will publish detailed Kerala Election Results 2011 in the website: trend.kerala.gov.in. NIC is all set to deliver up to the minute details of Kerala Election Result in this specially designed website dedicated for Kerala Elections 2011.

Election Commission and the National Informatics Centre are working together to deliver all the details of Kerala Elections 2011. Percentage of polling from all the polling booths in Kerala are available in the website dedicated for Kerala Elections 2011. Details such as total votes polled in all the assembly constituencies are available in the site.

Kerala Election Result will be available at the site trend.kerala.gov.in as and when the counting starts on 13th May 2011. NIC has made all the arrangements to deliver the Kerala Assembly Election Results 2011.
