Four Friends is the latest Malayalam movie from director Saji Surendran, well known for his films Ivar Vivahitharayal and Happy Husbands. Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya are the heroes in this movie. Meera Jasmine is the heroine and the fourth friend in this film. Krishna Poojappura writes the script for the film Four Friends. Four Friends will grace theaters soon.

Famous Malayalam music director MG Radhakrishnan passed away today (02/07/2010) at Thiruvananthapuram. He was 73 years old. He was ailing from liver decease and was admitted in a hospital at Trivandrum. MG Radhakrishnan is the brother of famous music personalities MG Sreekumar and Dr. K Omanakkutty. His light music compositions won the heart of Malayalam music lovers. His career started as a music director with All India Radio. “Khanasyama Sandhya Hridayam” and “Odakkuzhal Vili Ozhu Ozhhuki Varum” are his most famous light music compositions during his tenure at All India Radio.
He started his Movie career in 1978. The very first song he composed for the movie Thambu itself became a big hit. His songs in the movie Manichitrathazhu became super hits. His famous compositions include songs in Devasuram, Ananthabhadram, Chamaram etc. MG Radhakrishnan won the Kerala State film awards for best music director twice in the years 2001 and 2005.
He was born in 1937 at Harippad in Alappuzha district to Malabar Gopalan Nair and Kamalakshi Amma.
Elsamma Enna Aankutty is director Lal Jose’s latest movie. Kunchakko Boban and Indrajith are the heroes in this film. Lal Jose introduces a new heroine, Ann through the movie Elsamma Enna Aankutti. Ann is the daughter of Malayalam film actor and producer Augustine. Most of the actresses introduced by Lal Jose in his previous movies have all done well. They are Kavya Madhavan, Jyothirmayi, Samvrutha Sunil, Tessa, Muktha, Meera Nandan and Archana Kavi.
The cast of Elsamma Enna Aankutty includes Janardhanan,Vijayaraghavan, Jagathy Sreekumar, K.P.A.C Lalitha, Manianpilla Raju, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Manikandan and Manikkuttan. Lal Jose hopes to meet the challenges of yet another interesting story to match up to his audience’s expectations..
Mega star Mammootty is currently acting in the Malayalam movie titled as Best Actor. Mammootty portrays the role of a school teacher whose passion is acting. Best Actor is directed by director turned fashion photographer Martin Prakkat. Mammootty’s heroine in this film is Kannada actress Sruthi Ramakrishnan. Also in the cast are Lal, Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar, Vinayagan and Suraj Venjaranmoodu.Story and screenplay is by Martin Prakkat and Bipin Chandran. Music of this film is by Bijibal. Mammootty’s Playhouse will release Best Actor during Ramzan. Best Actor is produced by Anto Joseph and Noushad.

Vishu special movies on Asianet Plus are Priyadarshan’s National Award winner ‘Kanchivaram’ starring Prakash Raj at 10.30 and ‘Arabikatha’ starring Sreenivasan at 19.30.
Surya TV is going to celebrate Vishu 2010 in a big way. Vishu special movies of Surya TV are mega hit Twenty 20 starring all major stars of Malayalam cinema, Rajasenan’s Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonu and Bhagavan starring Mohanlal which set a record of fastest produced movie.
