Kochu TV Malayalam Channel for Kids

Kochu TV is the first ever 24 hour Malayalam channel for kids.  Kochu TV is yet another venture of the Sun TV Network, one of South India’s biggest media group.  Sun TV Network has earlier launched  Surya TV and Kiran TV in Malayalam, which has become a huge success for them.   Kochu TV targets children in the age group of 4 to 14 years.  Kochu TV telecasts a variety of program solely for the entertainment of kids.  Kochu TV also telecasts cartoon shows like He-man, spiderman, Jackie Chan adventures etc.

Kiran TV Malayalam Channel

Kiran TV is the second Malayalam  venture of Sun Network after their successful Malayalam channel Surya TV.  Sun Network is one of South India’s biggest media group.  Kiran TV is solely a music channel with 24 hour music and movie programs.   They telecast Malayalam films everyday at 7.30 pm.

Kiran TV also have a variety of entertainment programs which are mostly related to music and movies.  Phone in program is one of their most popular shows.  Some of the program which Kiran TV airs are Kiran wishes, Chirikudukka, Ladies Choice, Darling Darling, Tamil Hits, etc.  Most of the programs in Kiran TV Live are youth based and is anchored by different young VJs.  Kiran TV is one another complete entertainment channel.

KSRTC Kerala

KSRTC Kerala is one of the oldest public transport companies in India. KSRTC Kerala was established in 1937 as the Travancore state transport service. Kerala RTC now operates more than 5000 buses in Kerala including Inter State buses to nearby states, Tamilnadu and Karnataka. More than 30 lakh people use the services of KSRTC on an average in a day. Kerala RTC also conducts special services on festival seasons in Kerala, for example Sabarimala pilgrimage season and other important festivals in Kerala.

Recently KSRTC  Kerala also started leasing its buses for private use. The fleet of KSRTC include Tata, Ashok Leyland and Volvo buses. KSRTC has 28 depots, 41 sub-depots and 5 workshops in Kerala. Kerala KSRTC is the only public transport service available in some of the nationalised routes in Kerala.

KSRTC is head quartered at Trivandrum. The fares in KSRTC buses is regulated by the Government of Kerala. Kerala RTC has recently started the facility of Online Ticket Booking for some of the routes. Online Darshan Booking at Sabarimala

Kerala Police launches Online Darshan Queue Booking System at Sabarimala. The system will be operational from 16/11/2011 for  the Sabarimala pilgrimage season 2011 – 2012. The Q-Coupon booked through the Kerala Police website entitles devotees to join the queue for darshan at Nadapanthal, thus getting preference and can avoid hours of waiting in the queue.

This facility provided by Kerala Police is as part of their crowd management initiative at Sabarimala. For advance queue booking at Sabarimala, pilgrims need to upload the scanned copy of their photo and ID card and fill up an online form at the Kerala Police Sabarimala Information website. Once registered, pilgrims then need to take a print out of the Q-Coupon obtained from the website and submit it along with the ID card at Sabarimala when arriving for darshan.

This facility is available only for pilgrims with Irumudikkettu. The scanned copy of the photo should be in JPG or JPEG format less than 30 KB in size.

Kalikkudukka

Kalikkudukka is a preschool/primary school Malayalam magazine from the house of Malayala Manorama.  Kalikudukka is one of the widely circulated preschool publication for kids.  Kalikkudukka is a full entertainment and educational pack for kids.  Kalikkudukka is published weekly.
