Sainik School Kazhakkuttom Trivandrum

Sainik School Kazhakoottam is the only one school in Kerala managed by the National Defense Academy. The school was established in 1961 with the primary aim of preparing boys academically, physically and mentally fit for the entry into the National Defense Academy. The school came into existence on 20th January 1962. Sainik School is a well disciplined school preparing boys for entry into the armed forces. It is a residential school.

Process of admission to Sainik School

Admission to the Sainik School is based on the performance in an entrance examination and on medical examination. Admission is offered to Classes VI and IX for Boys only. The standard of the Entrance Examination would be equivalent to that of Standard V and VIII (CBSE) respectively.

Sainik School is located at Kazhakkuttom in Trivandrum in a sprawling campus of 225 acres of land. The school is situated 18 kms away from Trivandrum on the National Highway 47. It is very near to Technopark.
